A Beautiful and Emotional Journey of Growth and Resilience
Review: It is a rarity I give a 5-star review but I believe this book deserves that and here is why: Daydreamer by David Kuziara is a heartfelt and deeply moving story that takes readers on an emotional journey through growth, resilience, loss, and love. At its heart is Sammy Dawson, a young dreamer whose vivid imagination often lands him in trouble at school. Sammy is an incredibly relatable character, written with a depth and authenticity that makes his emotions feel raw and real. The book’s exploration of Sammy’s budding romance with Jemma is one of its standout elements. Their bond and relationship are beautifully portrayed, adding warmth and tenderness to the story. Kuziara’s character development is excellent, making not just Sammy and Jemma but all the characters relatable and memorable. The emotional weight carried by Sammy’s journey will resonate with readers on a profound level. One of the book’s strongest qualities is its unexpected twists, particularly toward the end. These moments keep the story engaging and add an element of surprise that elevates the narrative. While the use of third-person present tense isn’t my personal favorite and took some adjusting to, it didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. If there’s one area that could be improved, it would be the balance between showing and telling. At times, I wished for more vivid descriptions or immersive scenes that allowed the story to unfold more organically. Additionally, while the book cover didn’t quite match the tone of the story for me, that’s a subjective observation and doesn’t diminish the beauty of the narrative itself. Overall, Daydreamer is a touching and thought-provoking debut that showcases David Kuziara’s potential as a talented storyteller. It’s a book that stays with you long after the final page and leaves you reflecting on the power of dreams, love, and resilience. I look forward to seeing more from this budding author in the future.

A Slow Burn That Builds Into Something Terrifying ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review: At first, this felt like a classic adventure story—friends on a trip, a mysterious discovery—but the way it escalates is brilliant. The suspense creeps up on you, and by the time I realized how deep the mystery went, I was completely hooked. The relationships between the characters feel real, and their reactions to the strange occurrences add to the tension. There were a few moments where I wished things moved a little faster, but once the story picks up, it becomes impossible to put down. A unique, unsettling read that will stay with you long after you finish!

Chaconne: When Music Speaks What Words Cannot
A novella about the transformative power of music
In a world of perfect patterns and counted stars, ten-year-old Peter finds his voice through the complex mathematics of Bach. When he discovers the master's haunting Chaconne, he finds more than just notes on a page—he finds a language for his heart. As life begins to shift around him in unexpected ways, Peter learns that music can speak what words cannot. Through the passion of Bach's most profound composition, he discovers that sometimes the most beautiful harmonies emerge from life's greatest challenges.
A luminous novella about love, understanding, and the transformative power of music. CHACONNE weaves together the precision of an extraordinary mind with the soaring emotion of classical music to create a story that will resonate long after the final note has faded. For readers who loved 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' and 'An Equal Music,' this poignant tale reminds us that some emotions can only be expressed through music, and some hearts can only be understood through love.

A Love Etched in Stone
Review: This book is achingly beautiful. Roan’s devotion, his frantic need to immortalize love in marble—it’s the kind of heartbreak that lingers. The writing feels like a painting, every word deliberate, every moment heavy with meaning. It’s not a fast read, but it’s one you feel. If you love stories that make you stare at the ceiling, questioning life and art and love—yeah, this one’s for you.
